Services

Harper Hearing Services provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluation of your hearing and recommends the best ways to manage your hearing problems. Should medical or surgical treatment be needed, we will refer you to the appropriate medical specialist. Hearing loss, which does not require medical or surgical treatment, can be improved greatly by the use of appropriate hearing aids or devices. We are also committed to hearing preservation and offer protective solutions against hazardous noise exposure.

Audiological Assessments

For both children & adults we use a large walk-in sound booth with state-of-the art clinical audiometric equipment and a video-otoscope for ear canal examinations. A special COR unit with visual reinforcement is also used for testing very young children.

Hearing Aids

We offer most major brands and styles of digital hearing aids including the new “on-the-ear” open and canal receiver technology (CRT) devices. Trial periods and loaner hearing aids are available. Computerized equipment and a real-ear analyzer are used for precise hearing aid dispensing. As always your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Repairs

Most minor repairs are completed in our office. We also have our drill and buffing equipment available in-office. We ship major repairs to each specific brand's factory for repairs. On older models and all others, we utilize an "all-make" repair service.

Custom Earmolds and Protective Earplugs

We work with you to create custom earmolds for hearing aids, dictation, anesthesia & pilot monitors. We also offer protective earplugs for swimming, noise protection for musicians, racecar drivers, hunters, factory workers and recreational noise situations.

Assistive Listening and Alerting Devices

We have a wide range of devices available for use in difficult listening situations. We carry special amplifiers for telephone and TV sets, as well as special alarm devices for wake-up phone and doorbell, as well as smoke alarms.

Batteries and Hearing Aid Accessories

We have a large variety of hearing aid batteries available for most major brands. We accept mail orders for battery replacement. Call us today to learn more about and join our money-saving battery club. Some hearing aid accessories we offer are: eargene, Dry and Store units, battery testers, phone pads, etc.

Aural Rehabilitation and Education

We offer ongoing hearing aid education and lipreading techniques for both groups & individuals as well as special auditory education programs for children and adults. In addition, Fast ForWord and the AIT-Berard method education is also available.
